By installing, accessing, or using LokMadad ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use the Extension.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and LokMadad ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

LokMadad is a Chrome browser extension that provides:

• Real-time form field validation for common Indian document formats (Aadhaar, PAN, Mobile, etc.)
• Auto-correction of common input errors
• Optional local storage of profile data for auto-fill convenience

The Extension operates entirely offline and does not transmit any data to external servers.

3. License Grant

We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You May:

• Install and use the Extension on any Chrome browser
• Use the Extension for personal form-filling assistance
• Store profile data locally for your convenience

You May Not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the Extension
• Distribute, sell, rent, or lease the Extension to third parties
• Use the Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels

4. User Responsibilities

By using LokMadad, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Data Accuracy: You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any information you enter or store using the Extension.
• Legal Compliance: You will use the Extension in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.
• Verification: You will verify all auto-filled or auto-corrected data before submitting any forms, especially on government or financial websites.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and browser where the Extension is installed.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of validation results
• Warranties that the Extension will meet your specific requirements

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Extension shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension, which is ₹0 (zero).

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LokMadad and its creators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your use of the Extension
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of a third party
• Any data you enter or store using the Extension

8. Modifications to the Extension

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice
• Update, upgrade, or change the Extension's features and functionality
• Limit the availability of the Extension to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction

We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Extension.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Security Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LokMadad regarding the Extension and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
